Training aims
TrainingLevel 1 Prevention and Civic Relief - PSC1allows you to obtain all the skills necessary to save a victim in emergency or vital distress. You will be able to correctly carry out the first aid gestures intended to protect the victim and the witnesses, alert the emergency services and prevent the victim's condition from worsening and preserve his physical integrity while waiting for the arrival of the emergency services. rescue.
This training is often a prerequisite for passing various competitions in the public service or the private sector.
Training content
You will alternate between theoretical lessons and real-life situations to best prepare you for everyday life:
• Ensure immediate, suitable and permanent protection for oneself, the victim and other people from surrounding dangers.
• Ensure the transmission of the alert to the most suitable service.
• Immediately carry out rescue actions in front of a person:
‣ Victim of airway obstruction (choking).
‣ Victim of heavy bleeding (haemorrhage).
‣ Unconscious breathing (PLS- Lateral Safety Position).
‣ In cardiac arrest (cardiac massage and use of the defibrillator).
‣ Victim of an illness.
‣ Victim of a burn.
‣ Victim of trauma.

Training eligible for funding (CPF, Pôle Emploi, OPCO, etc.)
Order of 24/07/2011, Recommendations PSC1 DGSCGC, RIF RIC PSC1 FFSS.
Recommended to renew the PSC1 training every year in order to maintain knowledge and skills. Attention, without continuing training (maintenance of skills) carried out within 3 years, the training must be redone in its entirety.
